Russell Bennett is an Expert Cannabis Lawyer in Toronto

Russell Bennett, B.Sc., LL.B., founded the law firm Cannabis Law on April 20, 2018 to give cannabis businesses the tools to plan and protect themselves.

Prior to practising law, Russell was a filmmaker, who directed and produced the documentary STONED: Hemp Nation on Trial. Stoned followed the trial of Chris Clay, who faced four life sentences for selling cannabis seeds and clones from his London, Ontario store, Hemp Nation, the first hemp store in Canada. Stoned premiered on CBC Newsworld and was nominated for Best Political Documentary at HotDocs International Documentary Film Festival.
